Terms and conditions of sale
The terms you are agreeing to when you buy from us, including your right to change your mind and what happens if something is faulty. Nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer.

These terms
These terms apply to everything you buy through this website. Our returns policy and privacy policy form part of them.
- Where you buy for business use, the section on business buyers applies to you as well.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version published when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
Products, specifications and prices
- Prices are shown including VAT at 23%. The price excluding VAT is shown alongside for business buyers.
- A delivery charge applies per order and is shown in the basket before you pay.
- Ricoh machines are quoted individually. A written quote is valid for the period stated on it.
- Product photographs are for illustration. Specifications come from the manufacturer and can change without notice — if a particular specification matters to your decision, ask us to confirm it before you order.
- If we find a mistake in a price or description, we may correct it and cancel the order, refunding anything you have paid in full.
Requests, orders and when the contract starts
- Sending a quote request does not place an order and does not create a contract. It asks us for a price and availability.
- For items priced on the site and paid by card, the contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after your payment is authorised.
- We may decline an order where an item is unavailable, where we cannot deliver to the address given, where a price was shown in error, or where we suspect fraud. Anything you have paid is refunded in full.
Payment
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Trade accounts can be invoiced by arrangement.
- Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full, but the risk in them passes to you on delivery.
Delivery
- We deliver within the Republic of Ireland only.
- Delivery is charged once per order and shown in the basket before you pay. It is free once the priced goods in your order reach €250 including VAT.
- We will tell you the expected delivery date when we confirm your order. Unless we agree a longer period with you, delivery is within 30 days of the contract.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Please check what arrives and tell us promptly about any damage — our returns policy explains what to do.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer buying online, you have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to cancel for any reason. We extend that to 30 days as a courtesy, on the terms in our returns policy.
- To cancel, write to sales@copyandprint.ie, call +353 (0) 53 9102413, or use the cancellation form at the foot of this page. A clear statement is enough — you do not need to give a reason or use the form.
- You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling.
- We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing us they were sent, whichever is earlier. The refund is the price you paid plus our standard delivery charge.
- You pay the cost of returning the goods, unless we agree otherwise or the goods are faulty. For a machine we can arrange collection at the courier’s cost, confirmed with you before it is booked.
- If you return only part of an order, we refund the goods you send back but not the delivery charge.
- We may deduct from the refund for any loss in value caused by handling the goods more than necessary — for example an opened ink or toner cartridge, which can no longer be sold as new.
- The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your own specification or personalised, or to digital content once a download has started with your agreement.
If something is faulty
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
- If a product is faulty, you can reject it within 30 days of delivery and get a full refund.
- After 30 days, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If that does not resolve the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or a refund.
- You can bring a claim for up to six years from delivery, subject to the usual rules on evidence of the fault.
- Manufacturer warranties from Brother and Ricoh run alongside these rights and do not replace them.
- Faulty goods are collected and put right at our cost. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Business buyers
- The consumer right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to goods bought for business use.
- Damage, shortage or a wrong item on a business order should be reported within 3 working days of delivery so we can take it up with the courier.
- Our liability to a business is limited to the price of the goods concerned. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or other indirect losses.
Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
- We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
Complaints and disputes
- If something has gone wrong, contact us first at sales@copyandprint.ie or on +353 (0) 53 9102413. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
- We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. That does not affect your right to bring a claim in the courts.
- Consumers can get free information about their rights from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at ccpc.ie.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
Model cancellation form
You only need to use this if you want to. An email saying you are cancelling is just as valid.
